Norwegian Arts Abroad
Norwegian Arts Abroad consists of the seven arts organisations with an international mandate appointed by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry: Norwegian Crafts, OCA, Office for Contemporary Arts; NORLA, Norwegian Literature Abroad; DOGA, The Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture; PAHN, Performing Arts Hub Norway; Music Norway and NFI, Norwegian Film Institute.
The network is a collaborative initiative to empower Norwegian arts at home and abroad through cooperation between participating organisations, by collectively addressing common issues, achieving common goals and creating meaningful synergies.
Norwegian Arts Abroad was launched on 21 April 2016 at OCA, the Office for Contemporary Arts, in Oslo.
The network is planning a collaborative project for 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany, in connection to Norway being the Guest of Honour at the world's biggest book fair, Frankfurter Buchmesse.
