Visitor Programme December 2025
Norwegian Crafts hosted a programme in Oslo, Lillehammer, Ringebu and Trondheim
Norwegian Crafts hosted seven international museum representatives for a visitor program on the occasion of the Norwegian Association for Craft Artists' 50th anniversary.
Participating in the programme were:

- Giovana Jaspersen Garcia, General Director, Museo Franz Mayer, Mexico City, Mexico
- Claire FitzGerald, Chief Curator, Musée Ariana, Geneva, Switzerland
- Susanna Kumschick, Director and Curator, Gewerbemuseum Winterthur, Winterthur, Switzerland
- Petra Hesse, Director, Museum of Applied Arts Cologne (MAKK), Cologne, Germany
- Lena Hoppe, Curator, Museum of Applied Arts Cologne, Cologne, Germany
The visitor programme included studio visits with artists and collectives: Marit Tingleff, Ask Bjørlo, Christina Peel, Nellie Jonssson, Tonje Paus, Eyvind Solli, John K. Raustein, Hanne Friis and OSL Works.
In Oslo, the guests also visited Skog Art Space, ISCA Gallery with Pearla Pigao, QB Gallery, Oslo National Academy of the Arts with Trude Westby Nordmark and Ramona Salo, Format, and the Queen Sonja Art Stable for the ceramic exhibition At The King's Table.
Norwegian Crafts hosted a network gathering with the National Museum in Oslo, where the international museums met with representatives from museums in Norway: The National Museum for Art, Architecture and Design; Kode Art Museums and Composer Homes; Riddo Duottar Museat; North Norwegian Art Museum; and Haugar Art Museum. The gathering concluded with a guided tour with curators Knut Astrup Bull and Inger Helene Stemshaug of the exhibition ART·HAND·WORK.
The programme continued to Lillehammer Art Museum for the opening of the Norwegian Association for Craft Artists' Annual Exhibition and the anniversary exhibition An Impatient Desire curated by ceramic artist Nina Malterud.
The last part of the programme included a visit to Torbjørn Kvasbø's studio in Venabygd and the Centre for Ceramic Art in Ringebu. At the same time, Giovana Jasperen visited Trondheim and the National Museum of Decorative Arts and Design, among other institutions.
